Description: This feast is known by various names such as Pentecost. A memorable one because of the blessing that came upon the disciples for the sake of the people. See, Acts chapter 2. But this feast is also known as the feast of weeks or the feast of the seven holy weeks. Exodus 34:22 and Deuteronomy 16:9-12. This feast teaches us that the Sabbath was a weekly occurrence that happened every seven days. Seven weeks (after Passover has ended) a day is added which would make it the fiftieth day (Pente). The 50th day is a Sabbath unto the most High. Please read, Leviticus 23:10-22 to understand its observance.
